Doha: Nasir Bin Abdullah & Sons Group (NAS), one of the prime distributors of Panasonic in Qatar, launched the 2010 line of VIERA Plasma High Definition televisions at a media event held on July 7. Abby Thomas, senior product manager, Panasonic Marketing Middle East; Gokul, sales and marketing manager, consumer electronics department, NAS; and other officials from Panasonic and NAS were present at the event.

“At all our showrooms we have fully trained and dedicated sales team to assist the customers to make the right assessment of the product and its features,” said Gokul.

The officials said that the first two models of Full HD 3D VIERA Plasma will be available before 2010. They added that the new 2010 VIERA models have evolved from last year’s models, and include V/U/A/X Plasma TV series and U/D LCD TV series. “With the 600 Hz sub field drive, these televisions will deliver superior performance, together with crisp and clear pictures,” they said.
