In a rather large article in The Los Angeles Times, Marvel Studios has confirmed that both “Thor” and “Captain America” will be released in converted 3D.

As previously confirmed “Thor” is being shot in 2D and will be converted afterwards. The article revealed that “Captain America” director Joe Johnston on the other hand shot some tests with 3D cameras and called the process “a nightmare”. As a result it will also be shot in 2D and converted afterwards.
