A week after they went on sale, Panasonic’s 3D TVs have sold out. Early adopters love ‘em.

Panasonic was the first TV manufacturer to offer 3D sets. The 50-inch TC-P50VT20 plasma set listed for $2499 and sold for $2890 at Best Buy in a package with a Blu-ray player and a pair of 3D glasses. Now the model is back-ordered.

Samsung released its first 3D TV shortly after Panasonic and its UN55C7000, a 55-inch LED-backlit LCD set, remains on sale. Sony will offer a third option in June.
