Saw 3D is Weekends No. 1 Earner with $24.2 Million – The Hollywood Reporter
Saw 3D cut through the competition at the weekend box office, taking in $24.2 million since opening Friday, to nab the No. 1 spot in North America.Although the seventh and reportedly final installment in the horror movie franchise had the series third-lowest opening, it nevertheless managed to knock Paranormal Activity 2, which earned $16.5 million on the weekend, to No. 2.
